How we price

Every price, worked out in the open.

Every number here is a sold-price estimate: worked out from what copies actually sold for, split by version and condition, and rated for how much evidence backs it, before any affiliate link exists. Live eBay listings and our earnings never feed the number.

From every sale to one honest price

The sales that go in, what we take out and why, and what's left behind today's 13,178 priced games.

How a price is rated

Drag the sliders: this is the exact rule every price on the site goes through.

Our pledges

A price on every condition

Loose, boxed, sealed and graded, each rated: a best guess never poses as solid.

Versions never averaged

PAL, US and Japanese copies are different markets, priced apart. Why →

The noise comes out, with its reason

Bootlegs, reproductions, job lots, consoles and accessories are left out of every price.

Asking prices are labelled

When we show what eBay is asking, we say so: asks run higher than what copies sell for.

Doubtful prices are held back

A number we can't stand behind isn't shown, and the page says why.

Two sales far apart are never averaged

When a price rests on two sales that disagree, a sale far off the game's other prices is set aside, and the page names both sales.

Your money, said plainly

Prices in your currency are converted from US-dollar sales at the day's ECB reference rate, and the page says so.

Graded, by grade

Each company and grade is priced apart, and we never claim to authenticate a seal.

The same number for everyone

No pay to rank, no pay to feature, never a charge to change a price.

How we make money

eBay Partner Network commission when you buy through one of our eBay links. It never changes a price, and nobody can pay us to change one. That's the whole model for now.

  1. The price is worked out first.
  2. Then the link to your own country's eBay.
  3. If you buy, eBay may pay us a commission.

What a price here is, and isn't: an estimate from online sold-price data, across all regions. A guide, not an offer: a game is worth what someone pays for it, and shops, markets and local sales can be higher or lower. Condition, photos and the seller's reputation move a price within the range. For agents: every game has a .md feed and there's an API and MCP server.
